If it does not ask you, do a manual shutdown and reboot windows. Upon reboot Windows will say that it is locating new hw. It will identify it as the 5530 IDE primary controller and try to locate the driver for it. It will fail to locate it and prompt you to insert the install disk. Put the floppy back in and type a: into the path dialog box. Windows will copy the driver. Windows will then tell you that you need to restart the system, do so. Upon the next reboot, Windows will again go thru the locating new hw, this time for the Secondary controller. Only this time you do not need to put in the floppy as it already has the driver. {NOTE!! in both of these times, especially for the secondary the machine may seem dead for ~ 30sec. Just wait it will come back) Finally after the next reboot, the driver is installed. You can check by going back to the Control Panel-System Device Manager tab and looking under the Hard Disk Controllers item. There will be a "Cyrix 5530 Bus Master PCI to IDE Controller" entry here. There will also be entries for the primary and secondary controllers.
